Manchester’s go-to for authentic Pan-Asian food, Tampopo, has a deluxe new menu – and bigger portions to match. Although keeping a focus on favourites, the menu now features some luxurious new additions, with Monkfish Molee Curry (monkfish cooked with coconut milk, turmeric, curry leaves, tamarind, green mango, galangal and cherry tomatoes) and Thai Ped Makham (duck breast in a tamarind sauce), offering new tastes to the locally based chain’s army of fans. Favourites such as Gado Gado salad have also been expanded into full plate size, now sitting alongside other larger courses such as Bo Luc Lac and Chicken Katsu Curry – plus there are a host of Asian-influenced cocktails to try too, including this lemongrass Mule (pictured).

Restaurants in Albert Square, Corn Exchange and Trafford Centre (and nationwide). tampopo.co.uk.
