We’ve got a pretty good feeling about this weekend, as one of our favourite creative spaces turns two, the seventh Manchester Print Fair makes us remember what a talented bunch we have here in our city and a garden party at the Lowry Outlet Centre eases everyone back into the joys of life en plein air.

Twenty Twenty Two’s 2nd Birthday
This week Thursday becomes an honorary member of the weekend again, purely because sometimes it’s good to get the party started early – plus this particular party isn’t one to miss out on just because you haven’t got that Friday feeling yet. This is because Twenty Twenty Two are celebrating their 2nd birthday with a big birthday bash, and you’re all invited to join in with the festivities with some free food, free booze, ping pong galore and DJs all night long. Two already? Oh, they do grow up so fast.
Thu 10 Apr, Twenty Twenty Two, 20 Dale Street, M1 1EZ, 4pm – 12am, FREE, www.facebook.com

Manchester Print Fair at MadLab (pictured)
Manchester Print Fair returns for its seventh outing this weekend, promising a day jam-packed with creativity by celebrating design in all its finest forms. The independent art and design fair has become a key event in Manchester’s creative calendar, and this weekend’s session plans to up its game in its new home of Madlab, stretching the fair over two floors for the first time. Expect posters, zines, books, t-shirts, tea towels, postcards and more from a local army of skilled sellers including Savwo, Birdhouse Press, NOUS Magazine, Meat Collective, Textbook Studio and Horse Graphic Design Studio.

Lowry Outlet Centre Garden Party
Step into Spring this weekend with the first ever Lowry Outlet Garden Tea Party. Set over three days, the event celebrates the joys of finally being able to enjoy life outside again with over 80 stalls selling garden plants, accessories and homeware. On top of all this you’ll also find a food and drink ‘village’, live music, an Easter egg hunt, a cake ‘taste off’ with beehived MasterChef finalist Stacie Stewart (registration required) and savings of up to 70% at many of the local outlet stores, cafes and restaurants. All activities are completely free, but if you’re willing to spend a few bob (a mere £4, to be precise), you can also catch live demos from TV gardeners Charlie Dimmock and Carol Klein.
Sat 12 – Mon 14 Apr, Lowry Outlet Centre, MediaCityUK, The Quays, M50 3AH, FREE entry, www.lowryoutlet.co.uk
