Win tickets to Festival No. 6 ft Beck + London Grammar

A bumper arts and culture line-up – including authors, comedians, poets, film-makers, artists, a new cinema and another new stage – joins the music line-up at Festival No. 6 this year. The three-day spectacular takes place in Portmeirion, the Italian-style village in North Wales, famously used as the setting for 1960s cult spy drama The Prisoner (pictured) – with exceptional views, forest walks and gourmet food as part of the festival package. Alongside the music programme, which includes headline sets from Beck, Pet Shop Boys and London Grammar, the just-announced arts line-up includes a Dylan Thomas centenary tribute featuring actor Rhys Ifans, director Kevin Allen (Twin Town) and BBC 6 Music poet-in-residence Murray Lachlan Young.  Literary stars appearing include author and creator of The Fast Show Charlie Higson, and cult songwriter Julian Cope, who will be reading from his debut novel One Three One. Elsewhere, film-maker, novelist and critic Jonathan Meades will discuss his memoir alongside appearances from  Jay Rayner,  Young British Artist Gavin Turk, Matt Berry and more. The comedy stage looks particularly promising too, with appearances from Josh Widdicombe, Henning Wehn, Robin Ince, Tony Law, Phil Kay, Sara Pascoe, James Acaster, Marcel lucont to name but a few. Further highlights of the music programme include Martha & the Vandellas, Bonobo, Steve Mason, Neneh Cherry, Laurent Garnier, James Holden and many more – and we’ve got two festival passes to give away.
