The first preview of an independent thriller featuring Maxine Peake and Inbetweeners’ star Blake Harrison will take place in a city centre office block this June. Keeping Rosy stars the Bolton-born actress as career woman Charlotte as her ‘perfect world’ disintegrates, with Harrison playing Roger – a violent, psychopathic security guard. The film is the third collaboration from producers Richard Holmes (Shooting Fish, Eden Lake) and Isabelle Georgeaux (Jadoo, Resistance). A pop-up immersive cinema at 55 Portland Street, starting on Friday 6 June, will give the film an exclusive month-long run before its national release on 27 June. Peake is also set to appear in the Royal Exchange’s production of Hamlet later this year.
