Sham Bodie 7 ft. Bad Grammar, Ben Tonge & more at the Castle

Rightly priding itself as pretty much everything you would want from an evening’s entertainment, Sham Bodie returns to The Castle this June. This amalgamation of music, comedy, food and other delights has previously featured acts such as Eggsy from Goldie Lookin’ Chain and Father Christmas – which pretty much tells you what an explosion of diversion this night should provide. Hosted by the formidable Ben Tonge, the line-up this time includes music from the up-and-coming band Bad Grammar, comedy from Cheekykita (described as an alien clown, oh yes), Ben Kewin and Jayne Edwards, while there will also be a chance to participate in the World Cup-themed competition ‘Wayne and Gain’- which finally gives you the chance to welly a ball at Mr Rooney’s face. It all sounds a bit more appetising than Thursday night curry club at Wetherspoons, doesn’t it?
