Guerrilla Eats hosts British Street Food Awards’ northern heat at Old Granada Studios

Street food isn’t an unfamiliar idea to most. In fact, its popularity is currently trumping a traditional sit-down meal for many. Whether it’s the laid back atmosphere or the sheer choice on offer, street food junkies can get their fix this weekend, courtesy of Guerrilla Eats who have teamed up with the British Street Food Awards to host the regional heat for the north. Street food stars from the likes of Manchester, Leeds and Liverpool will be on hand to deliver delectable goods to you, with the overall winner progressing to the final (to take place in Leeds, in September). Votes can be made on the night via the British Street Food app, available to download here. Of course, there’ll be a fully equipped bar for some cold, refreshing beverages. And with nearly 20 stalls promising barbecued meats, plus fish, chicken, ice cream, veggie/vegan and gluten-free options (and that’s not all of them), you’re going to need them…
