There are some characters we never seem to tire of – and Basil Fawlty is one of them. The Faulty Towers dining experience is a chance to find out first-hand what the poor guests, and not forgetting his put-upon waiter Manuel, had to endure in his chaotic restaurant. Dinner is served in the Lowry’s Compass Room, which has stunning views over the Quays and MediaCityUK. Not that you’ll have much time to admire the scenery as there is far too much going on inside, where almost everything that can go wrong will.
The pandemonium is carefully constructed by the three actor/impersonators, who have been touring the show successfully for more than a decade. It is a night of surprises, not least in that everyone does eventually get served.
