Secret Cities: Immersion is a series of photography and Photoshop workshops hosted by digital artist Andrew Brooks. The third workshop will take place in early September. Entitled ‘Hidden Places’, it is centred on photography in areas of low light and difficult access. The full-day course will begin at the People’s History Museum, where participants will learn the techniques used on more extreme location shoots. The group will then head to two hidden locations in Manchester, where Andrew will demonstrate how to capture immersive images in the field. Moving on to the Central Library’s Media Lounge, Andrew will then provide a crash course in Photoshop for the beginners, and help more experienced users improve their image manipulation skills. Workshop places are limited, so book early. See the link below for further information and course requirements.
