Two artists working alongside each other in adjacent studios, Naomi Kendrick and Sara Davies, are hosting an open studios to present their work to the public. Kendrick’s work has been developed from various drawing processes such as drawing alone, drawing in response to music, and performative drawing. Through the open studios, visitors will be able to witness how the site-specificity of her work comes to the fore in her studio space. Sara Davies, an artist who explores being Anglo-Nordic and residing in the North West of England will display her exploration of photographic self staging which is carried out as a response to the dispersion of migrants from their homeland and the shifted meanings of what it means to belong.
