From 24 July, Peter Street’s new craft beer bar BrewDog will host a fortnightly Subbuteo club up on its mezzanine. The club is open to complete newbies, returners to The Hobby (that’s what subbuteo means) and people who may wish to play the game at a higher standard. The first few meets are designed to allow people to give it a go, with two leagues starting in September: a beginners league and a more competitive league. The events start at 7.30pm and run throughout the evening, with early arrival ensuring more games on the club’s three tables.
