Manchester’s foremost spoken word and literature promoters, Bad Language, add to their growing reputation and list of events with an evening in the company of Art Brut lead singer, Eddie Argos. Swapping his guitar for a notebook, Argos promise to tell you the inside secrets on how he became rich and famous. With typical sarcastic tone and tongue firmly planted in cheek, the frontman tells of how he revolutionised popular music and convinced people in London he could sing like Aretha Franklin. With support from popular local poet, Jackie Hagan, currently on tour with her well received live show, Some People Have Too Many Legs, the night is primed for an inventive and entertaining look at fame.
