Every Friday, the Blue Pig goes pop with two of Manchester’s finest DJs playing an unrivalled selection of irresistibly funky gems. The party, which is totally free to enter, is called BUMP and it’s based on old fashioned mixtape concept. As such, you’ll hear everything from hot funk and spandex bangers to hot tub soul, rump-shaking pop and much more besides. The twosome behind the decks include writer and DJ, Mof Gimmers, and Mat Lake, a soundtrack buff whose had a hand in the formation of many of Manchester’s coolest bars. Listen out for hidden gems and bona fide classics as part of an evening of proper rhythm and booze.
