The hotly-tipped south coast indie group Kafka Tamura swoop into the Salford side of the Irwell as part of their album tour. The teenage trio, who formed in 2012 after meeting online and sharing files via Soundcloud, compare favourably with The xx’s minimalist electronic beats and ethereal guitars while at times sound similar to DJ Krush’s ‘Song 2’. With their debut LP, Nothing To Everyone, released this summer, Band on the Wall’s scouts seized the opportunity to book them in for a Greater Manchester show in the cosy surrounds of The Eagle Inn. Having toured extensively around Europeover the past couple of years, now is the time to catch them before the hype machine lifts them into the musical stratosphere.
