Christmas, carols & cake – what’s on at Levy Market this December

With only a few Saturdays to go until Christmas, Levenshulme Market’s famous elves have been preparing a line-up of traders to cater for all your festive needs. Saturday 5 December sees present buying opportunities galore with a sackful of arts and crafts stalls to browse at our favourite market under the arches behind Levenshulme train station. These will include decorations for both home and tree, as well as an award-winning selection of food and drink providers and much more. On Saturday 12 December, there’s a festive food and drink theme meaning you can buy all the chutneys, cakes, and other delights that your heart might desire this festive season. Pop down and pick up all the stuff that you might find in an extremely fancy hamper for a fraction of the price. The countdown to Christmas reaches a crescendo in the final night market before Christmas day (Friday 18 December, from 4pm) where you’ll find winter warmers galore, from knitwear and holly wreaths to mulled wine and mince pies.
