GoGo Penguin have booked to stay for a second night at Band on the Wall, extending their album launch party to a full weekend. The local jazz maestros have been in prolific form since their second record, v2.0, sounded loud and lively on the Mercury Prize’s SONAR last year. Having graduated from Matthew Halsall’s Gondwana Records label, the undeniably catchy keys-bass-drums trio are lining up their first LP since signing with the colossal jazz and blues imprint Blue Note, named Man Made Object.
