Indie Author Signing at Chapter One
These sessions at Chapter One give book lovers a chance to connect with local independent authors and pick up fresh copies of their latest work. There’s two signing sessions running from 11am – 1.30pm and 2.30pm – 5pm. At the moment the second of the signings has sold out, but still plenty of space for the morning.

Show & Tell at HOME
It’s another edition of the ever-popular Show & Tell at HOME. The concept is simple: People from Manchester’s creative community are given five minutes to talk about their area of expertise. This instalment features talks about motion graphics, photography and arts marketing. One particular speaker is light artist Elisa Artesero, known for her Dreamers installation (see picture). At the time of writing, this one is sold out, but it’s worth keeping an eye out for drop outs for these exciting talks

Harp Concert at The Whitworth
The RNCM Gina Miller concert comes to the Whitworth featuring performances for harpists Sophie Rocks and Stephanie Halsey. They’ll run through a number of classical and contemporary compositions including Paul Patterson’s Spirals and Piazzolla’s Primavera Portena. It’s a nice gentle and intimate concert to ease you into a lazy Sunday afternoon.
