Kieran Hodgson | The Pub/Zoo | Wed 24 & Thu 25 Feb | 7pm | £10
Judged by The Guardian as the best show of 2015 and by anyone who saw it as a masterpiece of character comedy, Kieran Hodgson’s love letter of sorts to Lance Armstrong and indeed the Yorkshire town of his youth is a tour de force de France. Mixing heart with comedy is difficult, especially when there’s songs thrown in there too but Hodgson’s intrepid charm will win over even the most cynical audience member. The Wednesday show sold out fast with the Thursday added due to demand. So bag your tickets quick.

Banyan Tree Comedy Night | Banyan Tree | Sun 28 Feb | FREE
Not much is known about this new comedy night at the Banyan Tree other than it will be hosted by Matt Bonnano, it’ll feature some of Manchester’s best up and coming acts and it’s all free. Three pretty decent reasons to get down, also the food at Banyan Tree is top notch and if their quiz night is anything to go off for entertainment then this might be the place to be on the last Sunday of the month.
