What do you get if you cross Reggae Reggae sauce with the Great British Bake Off winner from last year? Appearances by Levi Roots (Sun 26 Jun, 11am, 1.30pm, 4pm) and Nadiya Hussain (Fri 24 Jun, 11am, 1.30pm, 4pm) at Lowry Outlet Food Festival 2016, in this case. Giving live cookery demonstrations and signing their new books, they will be amongst a whole host of chefs at the event including many of Manchester’s finest. There will be over 40 food and drink stalls to enjoy delicacies from on the day, and to buy local produce to take home. For the younger members of the family, there is a Kids Cookery Zone to get involved in. The soundtrack to the day will come courtesy of some of the North West’s emerging musicians on the Food Festival Live Music Stage.
