Ranging from the soulful side of disco influenced deep house right through to intelligent Detroit techno, Bohemian Grove has been quietly building a reputation for quality music and a clued up crowd at its home at Islington Mill for just over two years and shows no sign of slowing. This edition sees the New York based DJ and producer Spider take to the decks, a man who has been releasing records under a number of different monikers for years now. His style, which can spread right across from more Northern European flavoured ambient, chill and deep house styles through to the hard industrial techno sound associated with Detroit and its derivatives means that naturally long sets can ensue. This is a good thing considering Bohemian Grove parties are known to go on for quite some time, and with curfew not til breakfast time and no doubt some kind of secret parties happening after, this is a night for the dedicated and educated. A Manchester clubbing must.
