If you thought crazy golf was just for windswept seaside resorts, think again! Junkyard Golf Club is a pop-up course, which will be gracing the city centre from August until Christmas. You may have come across the club earlier this year at the Great Northern, but this time it will be at Piccadilly Place, the swanky development just over the bridge from the station approach. It features two quirky courses: one a “polluted paradise” strewn with (presumably fake) litter; and another which has a small-town nightclub vibe, complete with a UV rave room. Expect bizarre obstacles, such as a cave bear wrestling pit and a Rihanna-themed forest bathroom. The club is open until late, and the three fully-stocked bars and a branch of the hotdog vendors Bart’s Dog Kart should get the evenings swinging (ha!). Tickets are now on sale via the link below.
Thu 11 Aug – Fri 23 Dec, Piccadilly Place, 6 Piccadilly, Manchester, M1 3BN. 11am – midnight, £6 per person, www.junkyardgolfclub.co.uk
