Route 66 Drive-In cinema has parked up in Trafford Park, just past the Imperial War Museum North. This week they’re showing Hotel Transylvania (6.45pm) and Sinister (9.15pm), the new horror in the Insidious vein starring former hottie Ethan Hawke. A big draw is the chance to see new Bond film Skyfall on Friday 9 November. The cost is £18 per car, which works out at a little under £5 per person if you can fit four people in. Movie-watching food including pizza, popcorn and soft drinks are all available to order on the night (see website for more info). Ideal for those with in-car heating.
