We all thought we were pacifists… and then we tried on a sumo suit. The Film Night brings you the next instalment of its immersive cinema experience with this screening of Fight Club. Shown in a dimly lit Northern Quarter basement, be careful to keep away from the corners and make no eye contact as a hordes of reprobates gather to watch David Fincher’s interpretation of Chuck Palaniuk’s grisly modern classic. A hollow-eyed demeanour and a paranoid state of mind are preferable, with a good dose of thrift store fancy dress participation. Then dress up and drop out with a post-film bout of sumo suit wrestling – challenge all contenders to show their worth… or perhaps just their girth.
