Grade II-listed building, Victoria Baths, plays host to an art and craft fair this weekend. Following the FutureEverything digital fair early this year and Indy Man Beer Con, this time there’s less focus on the digital (& ale) but expect to see the same creativity and ingenuity at work with stalls including Islington Mill studio holder and retromaniac Alison Erika Fforde and Lynn Holland’s doodly birds (pictured). Old school fare available includes baked spuds and pies served with verdant mushy peas and pink pickle while the venue, dating from 1905, is worth the trip alone with tours of the Edwardian pools and Turkish hammam available on the day. A fundraiser for the stained glass window appeal, this is a worthy cause as well as a chance to pick up Christmas gifts and check out Manchester’s arty makers and shakers.
