Alternative Xmas party: LGBTQ Winter Fest with HER app at 53two

The folks behind the dating app HER are all set to host Winter Fest, their first social meetup in the Manchester area. With over a million users worldwide, HER is one of the most popular apps for LGBTQ+ women. Taking place in December, this festive shindig is at the brand spanking new venue of 53two. This arts hub and events space is located in the arches underneath Manchester Central, but don’t let that put you off –  it looks really nice inside. The night will have music, dancing, games and Christmas cocktails. The organisers aim to make it welcoming for single ladies looking to meet someone new, and also groups of friends. To get you in the mood, there will be pre-meetup drinks at that venerable old boozer The Britons Protection, which is just across the road from 53two.
