Art exhibition: Ruby Tingle at PAPER Gallery

This exhibition by the Manchester-based artist Ruby Tingle is an interactive mix of installation, performance and music. Following on from her PAPER residency during the Summer of 2016, Ruby has produced a series of new art works alongside a musical album which she will present in PAPER’s intimate space through a series of performances, centered around an installation. Drawing upon an interest in natural history, the installation will use different specimens, findings and references to other creatures and a mix of found objects and collages. Created in response to the music, the installation forms the backbone of the living portrait concept, accentuated by the artist’s own presence within the space through a series of planned Saturday performances.
