Hanging Ditch Wine Fair at Manchester Cathedral

Independent wine merchant Hanging Ditch is hosting a wine fair at Manchester Cathedral. The Friday evening event is the Victoria Street-based outlet’s fifth such fair, and will this year feature 200 wines from 26 different countries. The fair will also include flamenco fusion performed by Chico Pere and Matt the Sax (of Matt & Phred’s fame), plus entry to a fine wine gourmet lottery at Aumbry, and discounts and free delivery on purchases made on the night. Chorlton’s Electrik bar will be on hand too, presenting its Electrik Ale Experiments – featuring Blackout X.O. Rum Stouter and Bright Spark Pale Ale – as well as snacks including the Manchester Egg, Electrik Pork Scratchings and Chilli Popcorn.
