Manchester’s finest purveyor of surreal dystopias has created his own with a choose your own adventure style show in which Boris Johnson rules with a soft, aristocratic fist and ‘pure bantz’ is the only form of currency. A very early preview of Jack’s Edinburgh show this is sure to be a ramshackle evening of lunacy held together with gusto by the idiot ringmaster of Quippopotamus. There’s no telling how the world is going to end but Jack’s iteration will definitely be the funniest.

Those comedy butchers over at The Delightful Sausage are having a cultural exchange of sorts with Newcastle as the North East’s Order of the Silly Billies takes over the back room of Gullivers for a night of sketch and more. As well as this hostile acquisition there will be stand up (here used as a lose term to describe what it is these odd balls do) from the aforementioned Jack Evans, comedy mascot Barnaby Thompson and Sheffield’s favourite son Tom King. All for the price of a bag of offal.

A debut tour and a homecoming of sorts for the Manchester based comic Stephen Bailey (pictured) as he takes on the lost art of the conversation. Discussing the influx of social media and the effect it has had on the attention span of all and sundry in this new show entitled ‘Nation’s Sweetheart’ with his own wicked style. Bailey is fast becoming a household name thanks to his appearances on this likes of Celebrity Big Brother’s Bit on the Side and as tour support for Katherine Ryan. So make sure you see him now before he blows up.
