Continue their support for local artists – as well as serving up the best in beer, excellent food and much more – Chorlton’s Electrik bar presents a new exhibition from PIN, the design studio run by Paul Hemmingfield, and the talent behind posters and so on for Electric Souls, The Warehouse Project, Now Wave shows and many more. This exhibition – the first of it’s kind – sees the Manchester based Hemmingfield re-creating iconic (and not so iconic) record sleeves using the kind of bold yet minimal graphics you’d recognise from his work for the aforementioned promoters. The fictional label’s work on display is entitled Geometric Records and the exhibition launches on Thursday 25 May.
