A group of former Olympic athletes – including swimmer Fran Halsall and cyclist, Jess Varnish – have opened new café called Common Ground in Altrincham. The new venture serves local beers, cocktails and different coffees blends on rotation. There’s also a selection of cakes as well as bread and more courtesy of Levenshulme’s Trove bakery.
