A documentary about American singer-songwriter Bill Callahan is screening at 2022nq. Apocalypse – A Bill Callahan Tour Film chronicles the US leg of the former Smog frontman’s 2011 tour – ‘a collection of performances and a cross-section of scenes from the road,’ as the film’s director Hanly Banks describes it. The ‘Apoca-Doc’ premiered in Los Angeles this summer, with Callahan performing three songs after the screening. Watch the film’s trailer here.
