Grassroots community of writers, directors, and actors, Manchester ADP, bring Finding Alice, a new play from emerging playwright Emma Hinds. With funding from the Arts Council, the play’s production is nearly two years in the making. The play is set in Belgium in 1918, against the backdrop of The Great War. It tells the story of three women in a jail cell as they are interrogated by a ruthless Himmel trying to find the whereabouts of legendary spy Alice Dubois. As part of the spy ring Dubois is part of, the three women, Audrey, Camille, and Ida will find out what lengths the increasingly desperate Himmel will go to as well as how far they will go to protect themselves and their ally. Finding Alice premiered at The Lowry, and is set to move to Oldham Coliseum in February

Sat 10 Feb & Thu 15 Feb, Oldham Coliseum, Fairbottom Street, Oldham OL1 3SW. Tel: 0161 624 2829, times and prices vary, www.coliseum.org.uk
