Salford’s Eagle Inn plays host to an experimental free meeting of violinists, led by Graham Clark (pictured), on Friday night and Saturday. The respected jazz violinist has worked with the likes of Graham Massey (808 State) and Gong, and holds residencies in London and Buxton. Exactly what will ensue we can’t say at this point – but it’s sure to be a warm and welcoming weekend of shared music, with other instrumentalists, singers and listeners welcome. The Eagle is owned by the team behind ale houses The Castle in the Northern Quarter and The Parlour in Chorlton. If you’ve not had the chance to check out this updated pub yet, this is a good opportunity to head down and sample the house style.
