With Jodie Whitaker set to debut as the newest incarnation of the famous time lord this Autumn, September is the ideal time to lose yourself in the culture of the world’s longest running science fiction show. Vworp (so named for the onomatopoeic word for the wheezing, groaning sound the TARDIS makes) sees the Printworks decked out with panel discussions, autograph and photo opportunities, sales of exclusive art prints and talks at a price significantly more affordable than bigger conventions. Highlights include Doctors Paul McGann, Peter Davison and Colin Baker, companions Nicola Bryant(Peri), Sophie Aldred (Ace), Katy Manning (Jo) and John Leeson (the voice of K-9), plus producers and talent from behind the scenes, all taking place over stages at three different venues. There’ll also be comedy and music provided at an after party at the Walkabout.
