Design Manchester returns for another event-filled festival month in October to promote Manchester’s designers and artists through a range of talks, workshops and exhibitions. Print, graphic, photography and digital output will be exhibited and explored throughout Manchester, with a range of free and paid events on offer.

1. Print Workshop: PRINT.MAKE.DANCE.[RE]PEAT.
A free printmaking workshop hosted by Salford Makers collective, who will be guiding you through their printing processes and inspirations. The collective will be hosting other workshops throughout the festival as well.

2. Design Critic talk: Alice Rawsthorn: Design as an attitude
A key Design Manchester talk from New York Times design critic Alice Rawsthorn exploring the role of digital technology, gender politics and the ways in which issues of climate change and citizenship are manifested through design, art and technology. There will also be a Q&A and book signing after the talk.

3. The Art of Protect: The People Are Revolting
