If you’re looking for a bit of light relief to shake off a stressful week, head down to Comic FX at the Royal Exchange later, for an hour of free comedy. Headliner Sean Moran takes a break from his day job as a supply teacher to bring his dry wit and slick observations to the theatre’s impressive Great Hall, providing intellectual lectures with a humorous spin. First venturing on to the stage at the Frog & Bucket’s amateur night Beat The Frog, Sean has built up his reputation in the comic world, fusing his classroom figure with sharp, insightful stand-up. With stellar support from rising star Pete Phillipson and MC John Goodfellow, sit back, wind down and laugh your way into the weekend. SFX happy hour begins at 5.30pm.
