Fresh from celebrating their second birthday in Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle and Obonjan, feel-good spectacular La Discothèque are ready to serve up another big helping of house, disco and soul. The CityLife award-winning club night will return to Manchester on 23 Feb, promising another instalment of big grooves, fabulous décor, good vibes and all-round disco debauchery. Back again at their local sanctuary on Peters Street, they’ve announced another floor-filling line up fronted by Chicago’s ‘Founding Father of House’ Lil’ Louis, performing in Manchester for the first time in seven years. His set will be nicely paired with the prolific ‘King of Disco’ Dimitri From Paris, an old La Discotheque favourite. Now firm regulars on the Manchester circuit, queer disco collective Horse Meat Disco are also on the bill, along with DJ, producer and co-founder of legendary label Classic, Luke Solomon. With some very special guests yet to be announced, we’re expecting another big one. Tickets start at just £20.

Sat 23 Feb, Albert Hall, 27 Peters Street, Manchester, M2 5QR, Tel: 0161 817 3490, 9pm, £20, www.alberthallmanchester.com
