Dig Deep Records Pop-up Shop at Behind Closed Doors
Two days after Christmas, disco specialists Dig Deep Records take over Oldham Street’s secret speakeasy Behind Closed Doors. They’ll be setting up a pop-up record shop – tables loaded with crates containing rare originals and reissues spanning funk, soul and electronica from both sides of the Atlantic. As well as the shop, venue residents the Fair Play DJs will be on-hand, spinning an appropriate soundtrack for your crate digging into the early hours of the morning. The venue’s a little hard to locate (intentionally so), but check their Facebook page for details on how to get in the building.
Thu 27 Dec, Behind Closed Doors, 93 Oldham Street, Manchester, M4 1LW, 8pm -1am, www.eventbrite.co.uk
