After the success of recently opened Canto in Ancoats, the team behind El Gato are gearing up to launcha third city centre restaurant at the top of King Street. The middle-eastern restaurant will launch in the Grade II listed building that formerly housed Panama Hatty’s. Whilst exact details of the name or concept are being kept firmly under wraps, Simon Shaw and team have promised to completely renovate the basement and transferring the open and inviting feel of El Gato to the new space. Drawing on inspiration from throughout the middle east and concentrating on authentic flavours, the new restaurant will open in 2019.
Name TBA, 43A Brown Street, Manchester M2 2JJ. Keep an eye on @ElGatoNegroFood for more info.
