A favourite in Manchester’s independent music calendar, inner-city indie festival Sounds From The Other City returns for the 15th time at the start of May. This year’s event sees the North West’s finest independent promotors teaming up, once again, to showcase the best in music, art and performance. The format is slightly smaller this year, confined to the Regent Road Trading Estate, where promoters will each choose two acts presented across five stages on the day. Previous guests include Florence and the Machine, the Rhythm Method, Molly Nielson and Swing Ting – so you get a sense of the diversity and future-facing artists that have made this one of the UK’s most respected independent events. Only 1500 tickets are available for this year’s get-together – so we recommend booking soon if you’d like to join the party. Full line up to follow….
Sun 5 May 2019, Sounds From The Other City, Regent Trading Estate, Salford. Tickets from £27.50 on sale from Wednesday 23 January at 10am, www.soundsfromtheothercity.com
