In 2002, John Osborne won a competition on the late great John Peel’s Radio 1 show, receiving a box of records as his prize. This obscure collection to John eight years to listen to and in doing so has turned into a critically acclaimed one man show called ‘John Peel’s Shed’. A love letter to music and radio the show was a hit on BBC Radio 4 and lead the Independent to liken Osborne to Daniel Kitson. No higher praise for a storyteller this is a unique opportunity for any Peel fans and indeed those who like an obscure daft band name.
