YES Bar: Free entry, The Rhythm Method & free Jameson’s cocktail
Look out for an evening in association with Jameson Irish Whiskey. It’s a packed night of live performances and DJ sets including sets by The Rhythm Method, and local electronic psych outfit Afghan Sand Gang. It’s free to enter, and you can have a complimentary Jameson’s cocktail upon entry. In fact, there’s a special menu with various whiskey-based cocktails on offer.

The Corner Boy: free entry & traditional Irish music by Ardua
Another recent arrival on the scene, this Irish bar/deli in the NQ has a night of authentic music planned. The headliner is Ardua, a family band of three sisters from Dublin. These All-Ireland Champions are multi-instrumentalists, playing the traditional fiddle, accordion, and whistles. They have toured throughout the world, appeared at the Dublin Fringe, and on TV in their home country.

The Frog and Bucket: Irish comedy special with Rory O’Hanlan & more
This legendary comedy venue has a trio of genuine Irish comics on the bill. There’s Rory O’Hanlan, the host of the This Happened Last Week Podcast; Andrew Ryan, who has appeared on BBC3’s ‘Russell Howard’s Good News’ and ‘The Best of the Edinburgh Festival’; and Peter Flanagan, who was a finalist in the Irish Comedian of the Year Awards.
