Edy Hurst and Daniel Nicholas | Mon 8 Apr | Gullivers | 7.30pm | £5adv
Tis the season! August might be many months away for us regular persons, but for those comedians looking to take a show up to the Edinburgh Fringe late summer is breathing heavily down their neck. Two such comedians are lovely oddballs Daniel Nicholas and Edy Hurst who offer up ‘Lessons in Nostalgia’ and ‘Hurst Schmurst’ respectively and in true Edinburgh fashion it’ll be PWYW on the night.

Jess Fostekew | Tue 9 Apr | The Bread Shed | 7.30pm | £3/5
Probably best known as a regular co-host on tremendously popular podcast ‘The Guilty Feminist’, Fostekew is also one of the best stand-ups in the country at the moment. A refreshing and hilariously honest comedian Fostekew has been a long time favourite of XS Malarkey and has consistently been the best thing on TGF as well as her own food based podcast ‘The Hoovering’. Go see her live.

Aziz Ansari | Fri 12 Apr | O2 Apollo Manchester | 7pm | £44.45
The star of Parks and Recreation and Master of None comes to Manchester for the first time this Friday as Aziz Ansari takes his show ‘Road to Nowhere’ to the Apollo. After two huge shows in London and an eventful 2018 (to say the least) Ansari no doubt has a lot to say and it’ll be interesting to see how one of the best stand-ups of his generation makes his comeback.
