Hidden Orchestra’s ‘sonic narratives’ at Band on the Wall

Hidden Orchestra is the brainchild/artistic vision of composer, producer and sound designer Joe Acheson. Two live drummers, samples and dub-led basslines build up layers of soundscapes in their four-piece live performances and, two albums, in they’ve built up a dedicated yet diverse fanbase – head-nodders and chin-strokers alike drawn to their sonic narratives. They’ve supported everyone from Gilles Peterson to Coolio (!) but really come into their own as a headliner – make sure you catch them on the epic Band On The Wall rig – a sound system that might actually do them justice.
