This week’s comedy picks feature a long overdue headline set for Sean McLoughlin at XS Malarkey, Dead Cat Comedy at Seven Bro7hers Tap and a comedy tour, both in Salford.
We’re not quite sure what to expect from this event, but that seems precisely the reason to go down. Salford Museum are inviting comedians to give an alternative tour to their various exhibitions. This week it’s award-winning comic Dan Nicholas who’ll be making museum tours a lot less serious. Head down, you just might learn something new.
Character comic and housewife’s favourite Milo McCabe brings his Troy Hawke character to Seven Bro7hers Brewery Tap for a night of stand-up courtesy of Red Redmond and his Dead Cat Comedy stable. Red will guide punters through this ‘piss up in a brewery’ (admission includes a free pint) with help from rising stars Rob Mulholland and Kathryn Mather.

Picked for glory by numerous publications as well as Ricky Gervais and Bill Burr, Sean McLoughlin comes to XS Malarkey on the back of filming a new special which we await with bated breath. A terrfic misanthropic voice in a world that increases needs a good laugh at the existential terror that looms over us. Go see Sean McLoughlin, you’ll pick him for glory too.
