Manchester’s Americana five-piece The Travelling Band are to return to their hometown to soothe us with their lovely country vibes once more. Strumming out songs from their current album teaser, The Hands Up EP, and no doubt favourites from their ever-growing back catalogue, they’ll be gracing the Sound Control stage on Tuesday 12 March. Supported by Leeds’ Ellen and the Escapades and fellow locals Biederbeck, it’s worth arriving early as the whole evening is certain to possess a magnificent musical allure. Unfathomably talented, the Travelling Band’s legacy as a truly brilliant live band makes this a much-anticipated homecoming and the only place to be on Tuesday night.
