The indie/alt-rock four-piece, who take influence from Arctic Monkeys and Foo Fighters, bring their catchy songs and cool riffs to make this a memorable show. Local legend Mike Joyce brings his vast record collection down to YES this week. The former-Smiths drummer will be DJ-ing the main bar for four hours of favourites – from classics, underground gems and the weird and wonderful – entry is completely free! For one night only – Shotty Horroh returns to Manchester for a special show at Rebellion before the New Year! A known and respected rapper – the Manchester native has been making music for 12 years with a back-catalogue of over 2,000 tracks. Performing fan favourites such as Winners Anthem and Zombie – Shotty will be joined on stage by a number of friends – be sure to get down there for an electric performance.
Band on the Wall host a free-entry showcase of some of the most talented and emerging local urban acts. The bill includes writer/performance artist/producer Keisha Thompson aka SheBeKeke, 21 year old singer Acemi Fox, North London-born/Manc-based rapper Chris Armor and Jane Loca.

The former co-frontman of popular Manchester bands Gramotones and Cupids – Jake is back from touring and working with the likes of The Specials and PP Arnold – and going it alone on his own record.
