VIVA DECLARATION! is a performance of global-jazz music and live-mixed video about migration and borders, by artists Tagné and Kooj. Special guest Helena Summerfield will join the artists in a highly relevant performance that connects migration with colonial history, contemporary economics, and everything in between.

Joe Simpson Artist Talk and Q&A | Stockport War Memorial Art Gallery | Sat 22 Feb | 2pm - 4pm

Joe Simpson, a visual artist, will give a tour along with a 45 minute talk about his new exhibition ACT. ACT consists of a series of painintgs depicting British actors such as Olivia Colman and Matt Lucas in fictional scenes – Simpson had input from the actors themselves, giving this exhibition a truly authentic feel.

This all-ability HIIT session run by lululemon takes place in new development Hilton House, and is sure to wake you up on Sunday morning. Make sure to bring your own mat, as the event also features a compassion coaching session and closes off with some relaxing yoga.

Food Waste Feast | NIAMOS | Sun 23 Feb | 4pm - 11pm

This super exciting event at NIAMOS aims to raise awareness of food waste and the climate emergency – and you could enjoy a free three course meal, all cooked from food that would otherwise have gone to waste. Music will be provided by a Manchester-based folk band, and a talk will be given about food waste and the climate emergency.
