Yorkshire’s Bang Bang Romeo together with Live Nation present Stone Cold Superstar – the Virtual World Tour. To go along with their latest release of the same name – on Tuesday 30 June at 7pm, the group will perform their acoustic show live from home via the Live Nation UK Facebook page. Across the weekend, from Friday 3 to Sunday 5 July – Blackpool Music Festival goes online. Filled with bands, solo artists, spoken word, interviews and comedy – the event aims to raise money for Musicians Against Homelessness, Streetlife and Crisis charities. Confirmed acts include Dave Haslam, Alan McGee, The White Ribbons, The Joyful Sadness, Wonk Unit, Kid Klumsey, Avishek Choudhury, Dom Corcoran and so many more.

Following the news of London’s Wireless Festival being cancelled, the organisers have put together Wireless Connect – a 3-day virtual festival bringing you performances to enjoy from your own home across the weekend. Packed with exclusive footage, unseen performances and much more – it will be available to stream for free via the Wireless Youtube channel and Facebook live. Plus you can even experience pre-recorded performances in 360º virtual reality via the Melody VR app here. With a line up of over 70 artists featuring Bugzy Malone, Asher D, The Underachievers, Stefflon Don and many others – Wireless will be encouraging donations to the Black Lives Matter campaign. The team behind Glastonbury’s Shangri-La presents Lost Horizon this coming Friday 3 and Saturday 4 July. Across two days and four stages there will be fifty-plus performances from a variety of global stars – featuring Fat Boy Slim, Jamie Jones, Carl Cox and more. A celebration of music and art in virtual reality – you will be able to view wherever you live via desktop PC, mobile and VR with the Sansar app. Viewing is free, but requires a ticket which you can sign up for here. If you are able to donate, you will receive a Premium Ticket which will not only get you some amazing goodies, but will also benefit two incredible causes – Amnesty International and the Big Issue. This Sunday, We Are Manchester brings us their third livestream event. Featuring acts from across Manchester and the UK – this week’s will include sets from South Yorkshire’s Saints Among Us, Notion, Andom Poggi and local artists Narrow Margain, Dan Selwood and Hollows. To end their marvellous Take Away Show series, La Blogotheque have worked together with Francis Lung and Blaenavon to bring us Everybody Cares. On Monday 29 June, to mark the 20th anniversary of Elliot Smith’s last album Figure 8, a variety of artists with be performing live covers of their favourite Elliot tracks via the La Blogotheque’s Instagram page.
From 6pm you can catch artists such as Marika Hackman, Max Bloom, Pale Hound, Blaenavon and many others performing their covers and a Just Giving link will be available to raise money for three amazing LGBTQ+ charities – AKT Charity, Audre Lorde Project and GIRES.
