Manchester’s very own Everything Everything release their newest record Re-Animator this week (Friday 11 September) and while we may have to wait until next year for a tour – the band and Sansar Studios have something special in store for fans. This Thursday 10 September at 8pm, a virtual live event featuring the band performing songs from the new album plus fan favourites will be available to view. Tickets are priced from $13 (around £9 GBP) and once purchased, you’ll be able to grab some exclusive free virtual merch and experience the concert complete with amazing special effects. Ancoats-based charity Mustard Tree continue their weekly Song Club Live this week. Every Friday afternoon 2-3pm, you can join Simon, Harry and Martim – plus some special guests for a sing-along. Available to view for free via the Mustard Tree Facebook page, you can also access previous Song Club sessions in the ‘Videos’ tab. The charity, which helps the homeless and vulnerable across Greater Manchester, is also hosting an Open Mic Night via Zoom on Thursday 10 September 6-8pm – if you fancy participating or just sitting back and enjoying a night of poetry and music – email information@mustardtree.org.uk for further details on getting involved.
Dublin’s Kodaline present the third installent of their livestream series ‘B-Sides and Covers’ this weekend. Streaming from their own studio in Ireland, you can catch the lads playing some rare tunes and fun covers by purchasing a ticket for just a tenner! Marking the release of their top ten record All That Glue, Sleaford Mods perform a one-off live stream show from London’s iconic 100 Club this weekend. From 9pm on Saturday 12 September, join Jason and Andrew, with support from Billy Nomates and punk poet 1990s Chris. Performing a full set including fresh tracks and fan favourites – the gig will be available to view via Dice TV’s Youtube with purchase of a virtual ticket priced at £10. If you can, there will be an option to contribute a small donation on top of the ticket price – charties supported include Refuge, The Trevor Project and Firesticks. Norwegian DJ and record producer duo KREAM join the series Stay In Your Damn House Party this week hosted by Dim Mak Records over on Twitch. The record label, events company and lifestyle brand was founded back in 1996 by Steve Aoki – and has released music across the genres – from punk and indie to electronic dance. Every week they put on a livestream and select charities to provide critical funds to those in need with the help of viewer donations.
