New opening: Enjoy sweet treats, bakes, shakes and afternoon teas at Alex’s Bakery

Only a year after delighting visitors with sweet treats, bakes and cakes from its cosy Deansgate Mews store, Alex’s Bakery has opened up shop in a larger space on Great Northern Square where it can welcome more cake-lovers and dish up even more delicious home-made food. Shakes, cupcakes, muffins and coffee will be available from owner Alex Fulan’s new space, alongside afternoon teas and a range of savoury light lunch options including paninis, quiches and soups.

The bakery’s new home will allow it to seat 24 covers indoors, with room for an additional 16 covers outside. The usual array of sumptuous options will be on-hand too, with gooey brownie slabs, freshly baked cupcakes and scones, and stuffed cookies doing everything they can to tempt you away from your diets. Meanwhile an array of larger celebration cakes will be available to order direct from Alex’s in-house team of baking pros.
